Education is always already student-centered... at least in theory. What benefits can learners and teacher derive from renewed focus on putting the student experience at the center of the learning process? This session seeks to provide some practical answers. The session also proposes alternatives to some labor-intensive, but less-effective, practices that teachers may wish to reconsider. Most of all, this session hopes to rediscover the joy of human connection in the classroom and the other educational interactions that school affords.
